What does Great You Paid do?
GreatYouPaid is here to help you. We act as an intermediary, guiding you and the seller through the payment process. Especially for large transactions or when dealing with multiple providers, the payment process can become complex. GreatYouPaid monitors the payments, keeps the money safe, and only transfers it once both you and the seller have agreed to the terms. This way, we provide payment security for you and make every transaction simple, safe, and hassle-free.
How does GreatYouPaid work?

With GreatYouPaid, the entire payment transaction process is smooth and simple:

  1. The buyer and seller are connected through the relevant marketplace in our system.
  2. After the seller initiates the payment transaction, both parties answer a few security questions. Once these are approved, we generate the payment request.
  3. If the buyer agrees to the purchase, they pay the agreed amount using a unique release code, which acts as their personal signature.
  4. The payment is processed once both parties have agreed and the transfer has taken place.

What is identity verification?
Identity verification is a digital verification process used to confirm who you are before money is released to you. It’s mainly about fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.

Different countries have different solutions for this. In the Netherlands, a popular service is iDIN, which lets you use your bank credentials to identify yourself and confirm transactions. In the UK, a similar service is ShuftiPro, which provides secure identity verification for online interactions.

Our identity verification (depending on location) may include: ID document upload, face verification and/or data matching.

What is a release code and how does it work?
A release code is like your digital signature. After you make the payment via iDEAL, you automatically receive this personal, unique code by email. You enter this code to confirm the delivery. It’s that simple!
